We are thrilled to now offer a brand new range of linear drainage products with a total height of just 59mm. Our Purus Line Premium, Purus Line Tile Insert and Purus Line with Patterned Grate come in lengths of 600-1200mm, are suitable for concrete floors with tiled finishes and are the ideal solution for when floor space in your wetroom or level-access shower area is very limited. The 59mm height linear channels include Purus’ NOOD combined water and mechanical traps, ensuring that even with its super low-level profile, the 59mm Purus Line offers the same no-odour benefits as our most popular floor gullies.

What are the types of 59mm linear drainage that you offer?

We have three types of 59mm linear channels available: the Purus Line Premium, Purus Line Tile Insert and Purus Line with Patterned Grate. All types are suitable for concrete floors with a tiled floor finish and are available in lengths of 600mm, 700mm, 800mm, 900mm and 1000mm, with an additional length of 1200mm in the Purus Line Premium.

Purus Line Premium

The Purus Line Premium has a unique design: it simply includes a stainless steel frame which your choice of tiles are installed on top of, rather than the more traditional Tile Insert grate which tiles are fitted into. The tiles are fixed to the frame with a suitable tile adhesive; giving you the opportunity to use even larger format tiles as they will no longer need to be cut to form falls towards the outlet gully. The Premium design gives a discrete and elegant finish to your wetroom with no stainless steel edges visible. The Purus Line Premium comes in an additional length of 1200mm and a Corner version is also available.

Purus Line Tile Insert

The Tile Insert grate option is a very popular option for all of our linear drainage channels, and the 59mm Purus Line is no different. Tiles of your choice, up to 10mm thick, are fitted within the grate itself with a thin stainless steel surround so that the grate is flush with the surrounding floor tiles.

Purus Line with Patterned Grate

If you would prefer a patterned stainless steel grate for your linear drainage, we have six designs to choose from. The Chess, Rib, Twist, Platinum, Wave and Pearl grates are designed to slot within a narrow stainless steel frame above the 59mm outlet gully.

What benefits are there to using the 59mm Purus Line?

The total height of just 59mm allows the Purus Line linear channels to fit into shallow concrete slabs, so that with careful planning from the architect, the contractor no longer needs to install a vertical outlet floor gully through the slab. As well as the benefit of its super low-level profile, the 59mm Purus Line can be installed either against the wall or in any other location in your wetroom area. The drains have an outlet diameter of 50mm and we would recommend also using our 52576 50mm to 1½” adapter for solvent welding to UK pipe connections. This adapter is ordered separately. The grates of all types of 59mm Purus Line can be easily removed for cleaning and maintenance.
