Purus Channel 100 – Brand New ‘Rib’ Patterned Grate

We are very excited to have recently launched a brand new patterned grate design for our stainless steel channel drainage system: the Channel 100.

We are very excited to have recently launched a brand new patterned grate design for our stainless steel channel drainage system: the Channel 100. The ‘Rib’ grate has been introduced as a modern and stylish design following a number of recent product developments across the Channel 100 range, and along with our Chess pattern, is now one of two patterned heel-safe options suitable for bare-feet areas in wetrooms, shower areas and changing rooms. The Rib pattern replaces the Wave design.

The Channel 100 is our most popular stainless steel channel drainage system, which comes in standard lengths up to 2.5m and can be installed into concrete floors with vinyl, tiled, resin or concrete finishes. In addition to being an ideal solution for shower areas, changing rooms and hotel and leisure facilities, it is also perfect for industrial settings such as factories and breweries.

Many different configurations are available as standard – there are a choice of four grate types plus the Tile Insert grate if installing into a tiled floor finish; and the outlet can be positioned in the centre or the end of the channel. The Chess and Rib patterned 304 stainless steel grates are ideal for bare-foot areas and are heel safe, whilst the L15 and M125 load-bearing mesh grates are designed to suit heavy-duty industrial use.

Alongside the launch of the Rib design, we have also made a number of product developments across the range. All Channel 100 bodies are now manufactured in 316 acid-resistant stainless steel and the grates, which are 304 grade, and feature an embossed ‘Purus’ logo.

Bespoke channels in different lengths and/or 316 grade acid-resistant stainless steel, as well as many other modifications, can also be designed and manufactured to your requirements.
