Purus Channel 100 – Heelsafe Rib and Chess stainless steel grates

As part of the recent product updates across our Channel 100 range, we are very excited to announce that the range’s Rib and Chess grates are now classed as heelsafe.

As part of the recent product updates across our Channel 100 range, we are very excited to announce that the range’s Rib and Chess grates are now classed as heelsafe. The patterned stainless steel grates, which have a K3 load-bearing, are often used alongside the channel drains in leisure facilities, hotels and changing rooms as well as care homes and other shower areas. These grate types are available for all Channel 100 configurations alongside our L15 and M125 load-bearing mesh grates which are designed to suit heavy-duty industrial use.

As well as the heelsafe update, all Channel 100 bodies have recently been updated to be manufactured in 316 acid-resistant stainless steel which comes in standard lengths up to 2.5m and can be installed into concrete floors with vinyl, tiled, resin or concrete finishes. Many different configurations are available as standard – there is a choice of four grate types plus the Tile Insert grate if installing into a tiled floor finish; and the outlet can be positioned in the centre or the end of the channel. The heelsafe Chess and Rib patterned 304 stainless steel grates are also ideal for bare-foot areas.

Bespoke channels in different lengths and/or 316 grade acid-resistant stainless steel, as well as many other modifications, can also be designed and manufactured to your requirements.
