Purus are excited to announce that our Purusline Living linear drainage channels and Mini Series floor gullies, both ideal solutions for level-access wetroom floors, have been installed in the en-suite wetrooms of Leeds University’s Henry Price Building. The floor gullies and drainage channels offer stylish yet practical drainage solutions for the wetroom areas at the popular on-campus student accommodation facility, which is home to approximately 355 full-time students.
The Purusline Living is Purus’ linear wetroom drainage solution designed for commercial and domestic use in tiled wetrooms, showers and level-access facilities; and allows for a functional, stylish and modern shower space. The Purusline Living channels come in lengths of 600mm and 800mm, with three options of outlet gully to suit your requirements; and three stainless steel grates to create the perfect finish. These include the Tile Insert grate, which allows for a minimalistic look where the tiles sit into the grate for a continuous tiled finish across the wetroom floor; and the Drop and Twist patterned grates. The Twist grate was selected for use at the Henry Price Building at Leeds University.
Also installed were floor gullies from Purus’ Mini Series range. The range includes the Minimax 50, Minimax Two Part, Mini Brage 50 and Mini Brage 110, with a further selection of special gullies also available. All Mini Series Floor Gullies come complete with the NOOD no-odour water trap, which will not allow any foul air to come up even when dried out; and can all be installed into vinyl, tiled or resin floor finishes by choosing from a selection of stainless steel grates. Purus’ stainless steel PK155 square Drop grates were chosen for the tiled en-suite wetrooms at the Henry Price Building. Purus’ Minimax and Mini Brage floor gullies are all BBA-certified and are featured on BIM.
