Purus are pleased to announce that a variety of our products have been installed at The Passage, Carlisle Place. The Passage is a resource centre for homeless and vulnerable people based in London.
They have recently installed a number of products including the Purus Project Linear Channels, our Purus Mini series Floor Gullies, WC’s and The Grate Drain Modular Channel System.
The Purus Project is our premium linear channel range in complete Stainless Steel, with a plastic gully. It is available for both vinyl and tiled flooring, and comes in six different lengths: 300mm, 600mm, 700mm, 800mm, 900mm and 1000mm. The Purus Project is very popular in commercial, leisure and health settings including hotels, spas, hospitals and leisure centres.
The Purus Minimax is the world’s shallowest (70mm plus 6mm fall) wetroom drain incorporating a NOOD no-odour trap without a water seal. Due to our patented spring-loaded NOOD trap, no foul air can come through the trap even when dry. The water trap is easily removed for cleaning by pulling up the automatically raised handle.
The Grate Drain Modular has allowed us to design and create a channel system to meet The Passage’s exact bespoke requirements. The Grate Drain Modular is 100mm wide and has a removable grate. The stainless steel mesh grate is suited to industrial environments with large water volumes and is available in two different load classes, L15 (load-bearing up to 1,500kg) and M125 (load-bearing up to 12,500kg). The Grate Drain Modular can also be fitted with the Purus support legs, which makes it easy to adjust channel height when cast in concrete. The drain can also be fitted with threaded bars and nuts if required.
