In celebration of Yorkshire Day this Thursday, we’re spending this week looking back at some of our most memorable projects across our favourite county! Our UK office is based in a rural location between Leeds and Wetherby in West Yorkshire, and we are proud to have supplied products for projects all over Yorkshire. Here are some of our highlights:

Leeds University’s Henry Price Building

Our Purusline Living linear drainage channels and Mini Series floor gullies are installed in the en-suite wetrooms of Leeds University’s Henry Price Building in Leeds City Centre. The floor gullies and linear drainage gave the student accommodation facility, which homes approximately 355 full-time students, stylish yet practical drainage solutions in their tiled wetroom areas.

Knottingley Care Home, Wakefield

Our Minimax 50 shallow floor gullies are installed in the 75-bed Knottingley Care Home in Wakefield. The popular gully, which has BBA Certification and a total height of just 76mm including falls, was selected for use at the West Yorkshire care home by Alston Murphy Associates in conjunction with the Ladhar Group. The Minimax 50 is a popular drainage choice for care homes across Yorkshire and all of the UK, due in part to the NOOD no-odour trap which does not allow foul air to come up through the waste even when dried out.

York Community Stadium

Our most popular stainless steel channel drainage system, the Channel 100, has recently been fitted at York’s Community Stadium. We manufactured these made-to-order drainage channels in 316-grade acid-resistant stainless steel, and in the specific lengths required by the client, as part of our bespoke service. The client chose our popular Chess grates for a modern and stylish finish. Our bespoke Channel 100 service is available to order alongside our standard channels, which are available in lengths of up to 2.5m and can be fitted into tiled, vinyl, concrete or resin floor finishes.

Scalby Road Care Home, Scarborough

Our Mini Brage 50 and Mini Brage 110 vertical-outlet floor gullies are fitted at Scalby Road Care Home in Scarborough. Both the Mini Brage 50 and Mini Brage 110 incorporate a Flexi-NOOD no-odour water trap with a combined mechanical and water seal, making them the perfect choice for wetrooms and level-access shower areas in the care sector; and they are also extremely simple to clean and maintain. We have also recently had updated approval on the Mini Brage 110, increasing its flow rate to a very substantial 84 litres per minute.

We are always on the lookout for new opportunities for our products to be used across Yorkshire, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch with any enquiries.

Happy Yorkshire Day!
